About the role:

 

As a Sales Performance Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey delivering extraordinary vehicles to our customers.

Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

 

  • Gain invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the end-to-end Bentley business; from how we attract customers to the brand, how we manage supply and demand, all the way through to the final delivery of the cars.
  • Develop strong commercial awareness in a prestigious brand recognised as a UK Top Employer for 2025
  • Gain a core understanding of the automotive industry with exposure to real world data, performance management and insight driven decision making.
  • Have the chance to explore opportunities across the business to fully experience the Bentley brand.
  • Work alongside, be mentored by and learn from industry leading professionals

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Analysing Sales performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, communicating insights across the Sales & Marketing department and to our regional teams around the world
  • Bringing data to life by creating visually impactful reports using Excel, PowerPoint and other dashboard tools (Tableau/Power BI – previous experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Play a core role in business improvement projects to develop cross functional processes and assist with future product launches.
  • Improving and proposing new reporting solutions within our CRM platform to enhance regional and retailer performance reviews.

 

About the Department:

Our team is responsible for driving the Bentley factory and sales teams around the world in planning and delivering our sales objectives and optimising sales performance. We actively explore opportunities to improve our processes and quality of sale, whilst at the same time maintaining the highest possible customer experience.

 

What we are looking for:

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Business Management disciplines, Economics or Mathematics. Alternatively we welcome candidates from alternative degrees with a strong numerical acumen.

 

Skills required for the role:

  • A logical and analytical mind with an aptitude for problem solving skills
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication & time management skills with the ability to efficiently manage workload and multitask.
