Purpose of the Role
Join the Manufacturing- Production Planning team as the Facilities Engineer where you'll be responsible for capturing the facility requirements from across the business and manage the full start to end process, managing suppliers and the installation of the equipment including handover to end user. This role will see you play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of state of the art facilities to production facilities – contributing towards Bentley's goals, mission and Beyond100 strategy aim.
Reporting into the Senior Process Planning Manager, your main responsibilities include;
- Development and implementation of facilities, equipment and technologies in line with the required timing and levels of approved investment.
- Apply Practical Problem Solving and Control techniques to pro-actively deliver solutions, mitigate risks and solve issues.
- Ensure facilities comply with all Legal Statutes e.g. - Health and Safety at Work Act, Construction, Design & Management Regs, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regs, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
- Delivery of projects within agreed budget targets, managing the project potential risk cost.
- Delivery of all projects and generation of deliverable milestones & monitoring the detail in the project plans.

The Facilities Planning department create and maintain the working environment, ensuring safe working practice and environmental compliance with all activity that enables us to be the market leader in luxury automotive sector.
About you – Skills and Experience
- Proven experience of working with Assembly Facilities such as Automation Systems, Lines, Conveyors, Carriers, Robots, DC Tooling, Lift Assistors and Fluid Fills.
- Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation such as Construction, Design and Management Regs.
- Great cross-functional communication skills to facilitate full engagement of stakeholders.
- Strong Project Management and Planning skills, with experience of software such as MS Project, to ensure regular status tracking and reporting.
- Ability to positively deal with change to maintain Quality, Cost and Delivery
- Solid experience of solving problems using Practical Problem Solving techniques
- Minimum qualification HND, ideally Engineering degree.
