Purpose of the Role
Join the Business Analysis Practice as the Tribe Leader where you'll champion our people, growing the skills and capabilities within the Business Analysis Practice. In addition, you'll work with cross-functional teams, building awareness of the Practice across the business and the stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll also own future talent cohorts. Reporting into the Head of Delivery your main responsibilities include;
- Setting and leading Bentley’s IT career framework, change delivery framework, governance standards, tool selection, ownership and ways of working, driving meaningful value from the community across the enterprise
- Build trust in our change delivery capability by ensuring we have the right skills required, or trained to an appropriate level
- Establish and embed collaborative decision making bodies and democratise where appropriate
- Lead the transformation of our people capability to enhance Bentley’s organisational change delivery maturity, prove out and scale a bi-modal iterative change delivery methodology delivering value sooner
- Capturing and reporting the skills and capability requirements
- Budget influence for tools and training in a single cost centre to optimise our value from our delivery capability.
- Working closely with the Office of the CIO to on single IT budget for people
- Develop and deliver a community of practice across all levels of the business to support the change delivery capabilities
- Build and enable a community of change delivery champions and experts across the business
About the Team
Joining the IT function you will lead a team of Business Analysts empowering the team to deliver our shared strategy by seting clear goals and priorities, providing feedback and enabling colleagues to grow.
About you – Skills and Experience
- Experience working as a Practice Lead – Leading a BA function
- Demonstrable experience as People Manager – With a focus on Line Management of Business Analysts
- Experience of Financial control and process management
- Demonstrable experience of Project Management / cross-functional delivery, including Agile working
- Experience of People and Capability Transformation
- Good business awareness and ability to make, and influence decisions within business context
- Ability to communicate strategic and operational messages to all levels
- Business Analysis Tools, Techniques and best practice and application
