Purpose of the Role
Join the Logistics Technical Projects team as the
Technical Manager – Logistics Data & Analytics where you'll be responsible for ensuring the resilience, data accuracy, and efficiency of our In-House Logistics operation., and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting key In-House initiatives as we work towards achieving Bentley’s Beyond100+ strategy aim. Reporting into the Functional Manager- Logistics Technical Projects, your main responsibilities include;

 

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of two Technical Analysts responsible for In-house Logistics Master Data & Analytics.
  • Master Data Governance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of master data across the supply chain, production planning, and inventory functions.
  • SAP EWM Support: Serve as the in-house expert for SAP Extended Warehouse Management, overseeing system performance and addressing issues to prevent operational downtime.
  • Digitalisation Project Support: Provide technical leadership and expertise on logistics-related projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Risk & Compliance: Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across Logistics, IT, production, and finance to ensure systems and data support business continuity and efficiency.
  • Analytics & Dashboarding: Lead the department in developing KPI's and visual analytics tools to improve performance

 

About the Team

The Logistics Technical Projects Team covers data and digital projects/processes associated with ensuring accurate and timely Movement of Product On-Site. The team is the key interface for the Logistics with IT and primarily support processes in the In-House Logistics organisation. About you – Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills coupled with a delivery focused outlook
  • Leadership capability to supervise a small technical team, manage, challenge and influence suppliers and internal customers.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain systems management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Operational experience gained from supply chain, logistics, engineering or production environments ideally
  • An understanding of PEP (product emergence process) and/or project gateway deliverables
  • IT experience, and specific knowledge of SAP WM / EWM processes
  • A degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business or equivalent is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and operational efficiency.
