Apprenticeship Programme:        

As one of our Bentley apprentices, you will combine practical experience with classroom learning to achieve a Project Controls Professional Degree (Level 6). You will play a significant part in our business as we continue on this exciting journey to deliver extraordinary customer journeys. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

  • Work with experts who will support your professional and personal development
  • Be welcomed into our Early Careers Network
  • Spend 20% of your time learning with an external training provider and 80% of your time gaining hands on experience
  • Opportunity to have placements and further rotations around the business

About the role:

Join the G3 Product Line as a Project Controls Professional Degree Apprentice where you will gain valuable experience of all aspects of managing project delivery right from Concept to Launch and through The Product Lifecycle.  As an apprentice, you will be able to learn and grow in a welcoming and active environment, uniquely having the opportunity to be part of every stage of project development and delivery.

 

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Help manage key project timing and delivery plans,
  • Support the team with problem solving activities,
  • Co-ordination across technical and commercial areas,
  • Support project progress through data analysis and KPI generation.

 

About the Department:

The Product Line structure supports a complex multi model line-up & derivatives to manage the increased complexity & provide dedicated senior management focus on each car. The Product Line is empowered by the Board of Management to be responsible for all aspects of the business & acts as a key entrepreneur, supporting the model line business in all aspects from “Cradle to Grave”.

This Apprenticeship will be for the G3 Product Line which is responsible for Bentley’s first Battery Electric Vehicle

 

What We Are Looking For:

Training Provider Entry Requirements:

University of Cumbria:

  • Minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff points
  • GCSE Maths and English at C/4 or above (Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths are also accepted.),
  • Evidence of successful study at Level 3, A-Level, or equivalent.
  • Government funding rules require that an apprentice must have the right to live and work in the UK, must be in employment, paid at least the legal minimum wage.
  • Apprentices must be under a contract of employment which lasts for the full duration of the apprenticeship, typically working 30 hours per week.
