Purpose of the Role
Join the Product Line team as a Product Line Specialist where you'll support the delivery of Platform Integration activities, and play a pivotal role in ensuring Bentley’s requirements are met within the VW Group Platform environment, developing and managing detailed project timings and reporting progress through review forums.  Reporting into the Project Leader your main responsibilities include;

• Establishing detail timing plans with all functions and VW Group, monitoring and reporting through project and functional reviews, driving project progress through identification of critical path actions and follow-up with functions and modules to ensure actions are met.
• Identifying and reporting issues that pose a risk to Bentley.
• Being the interface between Bentley Product Line and VW Group Platform, maintaining current relationships and developing new ones, if necessary, to help resolve or manage issues.
• Ownership and accountability for Product Line PEP deliverables as required for a given project.
• Maintenance and communication of all relevant KPI’s and control documentation.
• Leading and facilitating meetings where required to develop actions with key stakeholders to assist with the resolution of critical issues, supporting the Project Leader / Project Manager as necessary to drive the project through gateways and achieve project milestones.
• Planning and allocating project tasks to meet gateways and build requirements across all functions to ensure critical project milestones are met.

About the Team
The Product Strategy and Delivery function is responsible for delivering our current vehicle programmes and determining our future product portfolio, aligning with VW Group partners and the Bentley Beyond100 strategy. Comprising of the Product Lines, Portfolio Planning and the Digital Transformation team, the product strategy function covers all aspects of product lifecycle conception, management and delivery.

About you – Skills and Experience

• Project planning, management and delivery experience is required
• German language skills would be advantageous
• Automotive industry experience would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proven co-ordination experience
• Strong organisational skills
• Experience working with cross functional teams
