Purpose of the Role
Join the Plant Quality team as the Plant Quality Engineer where you'll be responsible
for controlling both project and current series models ensuring Quality targets are met, and play a pivotal role in driving Built in Customer Quality (BICQ) ensuring we are supporting the Bentley Beyond100+ aims and targets. Reporting into the Customer Quality Manager, your main responsibilities include;

 

  • Supporting the process of CP8 of all project cars from VFF to OS
  • Coordinating with internal departments and stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of First of Type Acceptance Audits
  • Coordinating and managing all compliance type audits covering all current and future  models
  • Supporting the Technical manager and the PQ Customer Quality Manager with the reporting, escalating and controlling of concerns
  • Driving innovation through process and technology improvements
  • Providing transparency to the Plant Quality Technical leader and other stakeholders through robust control and reporting

About you – Skills and Experience

  • Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums, including presentation creation and delivery and generation of reports up to board level
  • Experience in the application of Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrable understanding of development audit systems
  • Good cross functional communication skills
  • Ability to provide technical support to the production teams and wider PQ function
  • Good working knowledge / experience of processes and business legislation (inc. Health & Safety).
  • Knowledge of automotive and reporting systems such as: Flags, Boom, Business objectives FIS and Tableau system would be advantageous
