Purpose of the Role
Join the Technical Conformity Market Delivery team as the Markets Engineer where you'll be responsible for undertaking market certification activities in assigned countries for all company products in support of the Whole Vehicle Type Approval and play a pivotal role in driving the Beyond100 strategy aim. Reporting into the Functional Manager- Market Delivery your main responsibilities include;

  • Supporting the System Owners and Certification Engineers to achieve compliant designs through their expert theoretical and practical legislation awareness and detailed understanding of assigned market regions
  • Ongoing support & maintenance of component certification for all current Bentley products
  • Working with Sales and Marketing regional teams to ensure that all required approvals are obtained in a timely manner
  • Undertaking Legislation investigations and ensure that it is understood and integrated into the project delivery

 

About the Team
The Technical Conformity Market Delivery team are responsible for advising on market requirements, certification testing, vehicle configuration and liaising with in-market contacts to support and deliver to business requirements.

 

About you – Skills and Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of: Vehicle Legislation and Certification or Test and measurement or relevant subject discipline
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and testing
  • Capable of processing large volumes of complex information, be a natural problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
  • An Engineering degree or equivalent experience is required
