Our Industrial Placement Programme:
As part of Bentley’s annual Early Careers intake, you’ll join a community of around 250 trainees including Industrial Placements, Graduates, and Apprentices.

About the role:
As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to creating extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
- Gain first hand experience of how a legal department supports Bentley,
- Have exposure to senior members of the business,
- Develop your presentation and communication skills,
- Influence all levels of the business,
- Diversify your skills and experience
Your main responsibilities include:
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects,
- Legal research and preparation of summaries for a new case law and legislation,
- Managing Legal documentation and support for the Company Secretary,
- Preparing reports for Board meetings,
- Communicating business updates across the function.
About the Department:
Legal specifically supports all functions across Bentley Motors worldwide and is essential to delivering the corporate strategy. This placement also offers you the chance to support the Technical Assistant of the Finance & IT Member of Board which includes planning functional events, communicating strategic information across the company and analysing & preparing data for board meetings.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Legal or Law degree subject.
Skills required for the role:
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Problem solving skills and adaptability,
- Demonstrable examples of taking a proactive approach.
