ABOUT (EE/S):

EE/S forms a key part of the Electrical/Electronic Engineering team within Bentley’s Research and Development function.

The department are responsible for the entire electrical and electronic system infrastructure and platform that supports all customer-facing features. This includes wiring systems, mechanical integration, embedded computing, and data networking/architecture. In addition, EE/S owns specific features such as Vehicle Security, ensuring robust and innovative solutions across the product range.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing a structured 5-year career plan, incorporating agreed job rotation placements, scheduled academic learning periods, identification of additional development needs, and progression toward IET membership and Chartered Engineer status
  • Building a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end product delivery process, from initial concept through to final implementation.
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong internal network by engaging with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of Bentley’s organizational structure, business operations, and core processes to understand how the company functions
  • Maintaining a detailed personal learning log to capture activities, insights, and experiences, with formal reviews by stakeholders every six months

 

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have a Minimum: 4 year Master’s degree (e.g. MEng) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar subject.
