Purpose of the Role

Join the HR function as the Future Skills Development Specialist, where you’ll manage the effective implementation of strategic, company-wide upskilling programmes.

 

Reporting to the Future Skills Programme Lead, you’ll work collaboratively across all business functions to design and deliver innovative learning solutions, playing a key role in building critical capabilities aligned with both internal priorities and wider group initiatives.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to Bentley’s strategic goals by enabling vital workforce transformation. You’ll manage the delivery of future-focused learning solutions across key areas including: Future Electric Powertrain, Software and Virtual Vehicle Development, Sales and Marketing Performance Excellence, Strategic Project Management, Future Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance programmes, ensuring our people have the skills required to lead in the future of luxury automotive.

 

  • Design and implement development solutions to close company-wide future skills gaps
  • Analyse skills trends, business needs, and best practices to define functional requirements
  • Introduce innovative, tech-enabled learning solutions to support on-the-job development
  • Develop future skills programmes for all colleagues in partnership with internal and external providers
  • Implement systems and processes to identify, track, and grow critical capabilities
  • Create engaging communication plans using platforms like Percipio and SuccessFactors to promote learning opportunities
  • Design learning pathways and strategies to inspire continuous engagement.
  • Build project plans with clear deliverables to support strategic goals
  • Define and measure KPIs to track progress against transformation priorities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of blended learning programmes, ensuring supplier quality and impact assessment
  • Monitor project progress, assess risks, and implement mitigations for successful delivery
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partners to optimise project execution
  • Act as a subject matter expert on future skills needed for strategic transformation
  • Engage with leaders and technical experts to define future capability needs
  • Track and report on programme outcomes at both functional and organisational levels

About you – Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Learning and Development, including design and delivery
  • Expertise of developing functional and cross-business learning programmes
  • A proven track record of influencing and challenging at a Senior Level across the business.
  • Operational management and sourcing external providers through tender/bid processes
  • Experience with digital learning platform delivery and blended learning design
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of developing luxury brand and automotive training interventions
  • SuccessFactors/SAP HR knowledge
  • Good Knowledge of best practice in HR techniques, systems and processes including digital learning platforms, E-Learning design & development, learning engagement strategy
