Apprenticeship Programme:
As one of our Bentley apprentices, you will combine practical experience with classroom learning to achieve a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions degree. You will play a significant part in our business as we continue on this exciting journey to deliver extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will learn how Bentley creates products that inspire and excite our customers, from the concept to production and beyond. You will get the opportunity to work alongside industry leading professionals, build your knowledge and experience, as well as influence our product decisions with your unique perspectives. You also get the chance to be actively involved in vehicle testing to learn and understand the process of delivering high quality outputs.
Your main responsibilities include;
- Develop IT and data management skills to enable you to contribute to the evolving inclusion of powertrain data analysis on a digital platform
- Work with the team to deliver hardware systems for the Bentley products
- Support the preparation and testing of vehicles for cooling and thermal sign-off
- Work collaboratively with broader engineering departments to strengthen working relationships and the data management processes
About the Department:
The Powertrain hardware department is responsible for delivering the complete system of components that enables the vehicle to move on its own. This includes the internal combustion engine, electric motor, transmission and driveline hardware that connects to the wheels. Working within this team you will get real insight and exposure to every element of the powertrain system, that enables the vehicle to provide the effortless yet sensational experience for the customers.

Manchester Metropolitan University requirements : A-levels at grades BCC (104 points minimum) or an equivalent such as BTEC, DMM.
Five GCSE’s including Math and English at Grade C (4) minimum or above or equivalent.
