Purpose of the Role
Join the Field Quality team as a Data Analyst where you'll transform complex data into actionable insights; visualising trends and communicating findings to stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter, with a foundational knowledge of data analysis and tools, to join the team. Reporting into the Field Quality Manager your main responsibilities include;
- Providing data insights to support the steering of problem solving activity, including data gathering / analysis and designing experiments to characterise and analyse field concerns
- Using data to support identification of root cause(s) of field problems in order that countermeasures can be defined and implemented
- Using data to identify new potential workstreams, to advance Bentley’s problem solving capabilities
- Working in conjunction with Group partners to define how latest smart innovations and processes can be integrated into Bentley’s Ways of Working
- Supporting in the development of Business Cases using predictive models such as Weibull Analysis
- Supporting the input of previous problem information into new projects to facilitate corporate learning where appropriate
- Supporting the generation of field performance measures so the business can track performance against targets
About the Team
The Field Quality team is responsible for identifying, prioritising and steering (to resolution) any quality topics that occur once the vehicle has left the production facility. To support this objective, the team is separated into two core areas of focus; Data Analytics and Problem Steering.
You will join the Field Quality Data Analytics team, where the aim is to use (and develop further) extended datasets across all available sensors, to maximise the impact of data led problem solving, in order to support the identification, prioritisation and steering of key topics to the relevant business functions.
About you – Skills and Experience
- Data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Mini-tab, Weibull, and/or Tableau
- An understanding of statistics
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous
