Purpose of the Role

Join the team as a Body Rectification Colleague, where you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality processes within the required timeframes, ensuring all standard work and safety protocols are followed. Play a pivotal role in maintaining production efficiency and contributing to Bentley's mission of sustainable, world-class automotive manufacturing. Reporting into the Team Leader, your main responsibilities include:

• Working over 2 shifts, mornings and afternoons
• Complete standard work in the correct sequence and time, ensuring adherence to quality controls and using the Andon system when problems occur.
• Work flexibly within the team and zone, and support overtime requests as needed to meet production targets.
• Support training and process improvement initiatives, participating in process audits and actively raising improvement ideas.
• Maintain ownership of your work area, ensuring cleanliness and the proper functioning of tools and equipment through regular checks.
• Ensure safety standards are followed, report accidents, and participate in health and safety reviews.

The Production team is central to Bentley’s operational excellence, ensuring the seamless assembly of our luxury vehicles. As part of the Production function, we aim to improve processes continuously, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

About You – Skills and Experience

• Welding Skills in Mig/Tig
• Metal finishing on Alloy and Steel
• Body finishing with paint finish experience.
• Profile knowledge and working to standards.
• Demonstrates flexibility in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in teamwork and collaborative working practices.
• Ability to understand and apply standardized work documentation and work instructions.
• Practical experience in product assembly processes is beneficial.
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
