Girls into Bentley: A Day of Discovery, Insight and Inspiration
This March, we welcomed students from across Cheshire for this year’s Girls into Bentley event. An inspiring day created for girls passionate about STEM to explore what it is like to work at Bentley and how their interests could translate into future careers.
This year’s Girls into Bentley event was a truly positive and engaging occasion. By inviting local schools onto the Bentley site, students were given the opportunity to build a meaningful connection with a leading employer in their community while gaining a closer look at how their interests could translate into real-world career paths.
Throughout the day, students took part in keynote talks, interactive sessions and hands-on activities that offered a genuine insight into what it is like to work at Bentley. From VR paint activity, hide defect inspection and looking at our paint spectrum of colours to a CV masterclass, product emersion within our Heritage Garage and networking with our BeInspired network, each session was designed to spark curiosity and broaden perspectives about life at Bentley.
A standout element of the day was the opportunity to meet female role models from across the business. Hearing their personal career journeys, and the steps that brought them into engineering, manufacturing, and leadership positions at Bentley had a powerful impact on the students. These conversations helped to highlight what is possible, demonstrated the many routes into the industry, and inspired students to think more confidently about their own next steps.
Overall, the event reinforced Bentley’s commitment to outreach, inclusion and supporting young women from the local community to consider careers they may not have previously thought were open to them. By creating an environment where students feel encouraged, informed and inspired, Girls into Bentley continues to play an important role in shaping the next generation of talent.
