Bentley is proud to win the CSR Excellence Award from Business Concept in the category: Best for Social Sustainability in Luxury Automotive Manufacturing!
Our Beyond100 journey has sustainability at its core, and reinvents every aspect of the business in order to become the leader in sustainable luxury mobility. This sustainability focused transformation isn’t just about technology: It’s about the people in the business and around us in the community.
Last year, the GA team at Bentley, who look after Community Investment, rolled out the 'Advancing Life Chances (ALC) Strategy'. This strategy creates a focus for all community activity that Bentley supports, with a clear aim to help people in the local community and in the UK, to:
- Improve Access to essential services,
- Empower individuals and communities,
- Improve Quality of Life and
- Build a Better Future.
In 2023, the GA Team introduced a new UK wide ALC Small Grants programme and a local community programme called the ALC Crewe Fund. Bentley has also continued to innovate with the setup of a new endowment fund which directs money into a Crisis Fund for the people of Crewe.
The judges recognised the strategy and programmes implemented in 2023, enabling us to win the CSR Excellence Award in the category “Best for Social Sustainability in Luxury Automotive Manufacturing”.
