2025 TRAINEE AWARDS
Our annual trainee awards were presented by Karen Lange, Member of the Board HR, to the Graduate, Industrial Placement and Apprentice who showed outstanding commitment and dedication throughout their programme.
Congratulations to Emily Ruscoe, Rincy Raju and Will Meredith for winning this year's Apprentice, Graduate and Industrial Placement of the year awards.
Emily Ruscoe | Apprentice of the Year
Emily joined Bentley as a Degree Apprentice in 2021, studying a degree in Engineering alongside her role in Plant Quality. Emily has consistently demonstrated academic excellence alongside her job, and has gone above and beyond in her responsibilities, serving as Co-Chair of the Early Careers Committee and leading initiatives that have created meaningful impact. The awards judging panel praised her for her ownership mindset and ability to apply academic learnings to drive real business improvements, most notably through the successful FLAGS project, a major system for ensuring production quality standards. Emily’s consistent demonstration of our Bentley values and commitment to CSR activities make her a real ambassador for the business. Emily will also be representing Bentley in this years' Volkswagen Group's Best Apprentice awards - best of luck, Emily, and well done again!
Rincy Raju | Graduate of the Year
Rincy joined Bentley as a Graduate Electrical Engineer in October 2023, having completed her Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Automotive Mechatronics. She was recognised for her exceptional performance on the Graduate Scheme and in the Electrical Test team, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements in simulation, automation, and hardware testing. Her technical acumen is matched by her ambition, working toward Chartered Engineer status whilst learning German from scratch. Rincy’s contributions extend beyond her day role, as she has actively supported STEM and community engagement initiatives. She exemplifies our values and is a true advocate for lifelong learning and development. Well done, Rincy.
Will Meredith | Industrial Placement of the Year
Will started his placement year with our Corporate Strategy team in August last year and has made outstanding, lasting impacts on several high-profile, cross-functional projects. Supporting board-level decision-making, Will's work has been praised for its strategic value and execution. He is recognised not only for his business contributions but also for his dedication to supporting local businesses and communities, exemplifying our Bentley ethos. Judges highlighted Will’s proactive mindset, approach to personal growth, and unwavering professionalism - qualities that truly define an exceptional placement student.
