REMEMBRANCE DAY 2024

Bentley unites its commitment to craftsmanship and remembrance with the unveiling of this unique Bentayga EWB Mulliner, specially wrapped to commemorate Remembrance Day.

This striking tribute features a design of 80 poppies rising from a map of northern France, symbolising Bentley’s recognition of those who served and the legacy they leave behind. Each poppy marks a sacrifice made in the pursuit of peace, reflective of the journey from England’s south coast to northern Europe on D-Day, a powerful expression of unity and respect through historical symbolism.

Our Crewe colleagues also remembered the day by volunteering their time to support events at Bentley:

Onsite Remembrance Service
The Royal British Legion and Chaplain Stewart, along with our Board and BeReady network members, and our colleagues from Trim, who created poppies to raise funds for the RBL, attended an onsite memorial at Legends, where our former colleague Graham Malam returned to play the bugle for us.

Race of Remembrance
This year, our Remembrance Car was the course car at the Trac Mon race circuit in Anglesey as part of Mission Motorsport event, colleagues from around the business participated in this year's Race of Remembrance, either racing or marshalling at the event. Well done all those involved.

Remembrance Sunday
Mark Barnes from our Bentley Logistics team laid the wreath at the Crewe memorial on behalf of Bentley, BeReady, and Manufacturing. Toby Marsden led the Sandbach Memorial Parade, chauffeuring the Royal British Legion dignitaries in one of our Bentaygas.

Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day, as the country fell silent to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we positioned our Remembrance Car on the 'B' on Pyms Lane, allowing colleagues to view the design up close.

Tuesday 12 November
On Tuesday, the Remembrance Car headed over to the Wood Shop before undertaking its final official engagement at the His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire Awards on Wednesday evening.
