We recommend applying for only one role. Applying for multiple roles may suggest a lack of clear interest, and candidates can only progress to assessment for one position. We therefore advise applying for the role you are most interested in.

This is dependent on the role and the link to the apprenticeship standard and entry requirements is included on all job adverts.
Entry depends on meeting grade criteria. If you fall short, Bentley will discuss options, but some roles may not be available.
Yes – you will be notified by email if your application is unsuccessful.
Unfortunately we are not able to provide feedback on applications that are not shortlisted for interview, due to the volume.
We advise a smart dress code (e.g., a shirt). School uniforms can be worn too.
Bentley selects a top training provider suited to your apprenticeship’s requirements. You won’t choose the provider, the training provider will be included in the individual adverts.
Yes, incoming trainees are supported by the Early Careers team, who act as the main contact between offer and joining and host pre-start events to help you meet fellow trainees.
Apprentices join on Monday 7th September 2026. A welcome event will be held in July.
Smart dress is recommended. Your manager and the Early Careers team will advise before your start date based on your department.
If you're in a production environment, you’ll be given company workwear. Other business areas don’t require uniform.
Throughout the programme, apprentices gain support from their manager or mentor in their department on a day-to-day basis. Bentley also has a dedicated Early Careers team and specialist training providers who offer holistic support. New starters will also be assigned a 'buddy'. This is an existing apprentice / trainee, who is further along in their studies, that will act as an informal mentor for any questions you may have.
Yes! You'll be part of a large trainee cohort including Apprentices, Graduates, and Placement students, with regular networking sessions.

You are expected to be on-site regularly, with production being onsite 5 days a week. Some apprentice's relocate to the local area whereas others commute due to excellent transport links.
We’ll provide local info and networking opportunities. A “Welcome to Crewe” pack is included in your onboarding.
This depends on the department. Production are onsite 5 days a week, for other departments the guidelines are 60% onsite and 40% remote, however this can vary based on role. You can ask the hiring manager during your interview for more detail.
20% of your working hours will be used for study — either through day/block release or virtual lessons.
