About the role

We are seeking an Events Manager to join the business on a permanent basis at our Crewe Site. The role offers a hybrid working opportunity with flexible working hours.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Experience, the Events Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and successful delivery of the global experiential Extraordinary Journeys programme, in line with the annual marketing plan and launch planning strategy, working integrally with key stakeholders including Regions, Retailers and Communications.

 

The Events Manager will define & lead the strategic planning of the Brand Experience team as well as event projects, and in doing so gather input and buy in from the major stakeholders, defining & sharing responsibility for individuals as part of a flexible cross functional team including central & regional functions. The role also has responsibility for global benchmarking and target setting / monitoring, to ensure the global vision of Extraordinary Journeys and Bentley’s Passion Points are successfully implemented.

The Sales and Marketing Team make certain that the uniqueness of the Bentley Brand and our values are delivered consistently through our communication, events, retailers, products and services. We are the link to the customer and ensure their voice is heard within Bentley.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the strategic development and delivery of Bentley Brand Experiences
  • Target setting, monitoring, and global alignment
  • Integration of Pay to Play customer and prospect experiences in to the brand experience offer
  • Ensure transferability of event offering to internal departments, dealer and regions; support local events (launches, driving events, customer events etc)
  • Support the planning and delivery of dynamic events

 

About the person

The successful candidate will be in a strategically driven Events Management role. You will have excellent communication skills developed from cross departmental working as well as external agencies, have a good understanding of customer centric demands and requirements coupled with a business acumen that can be applied into a sales and marketing environment. Events experience gained form the automotive industry would be advantageous.

 

You will demonstrate:

  • Experience in strategic development, delivering successful events programs within a customer driven environment
  • Excellent events project management and project delivery skills that meet a range of business objectives
  • Communication and presentation skills up to Board level, global cultural awareness and a good commercial business acumen including managing budgets
  • Previous experience of working with agencies in the corporate events arena
  • Flexibility to travel globally, full driving license required
