ABOUT THE ROLE

As a System Leader – Body Systems you will collaborate with the Director – Body & Trim Engineering within R&D to deliver our product ambitions and to shape our Beyond100 strategy.

As a System Leader this role will be the R&D lead for Body Systems on a given vehicle project, responsible for the delivery of the 13 sub-systems within Body Systems: (Cockpit/Trim/Seating/Safety/BIW/Egress/HVAC/Sight/Add on/Body Control Modules/Exterior Lighting).

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Project Management
• Project leadership (Interior content/Exterior content /BIW & Vehicle Safety content)
• Cost Management
• Resource Management
• Executive presentation delivery
• Gateway deliverable Process Management
• Support budget planning with Head of Departments of functional area

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE       

The successful candidate will be a Technical/Project Manager or Leader  with experience of  working and delivering multiple systems into series production within Body Engineering ideally within the automotive/aerospace industry.

• Experience of successful deliveries of vehicle systems/ features or as Project Manager of vehicle projects
• Experience of successful delivery of vehicle systems/ features to functional, cost, quality and timing targets
• Broad knowledge of multiple Engineering systems and their relationships
• An Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Previous project leadership experience of large teams
