Our Industrial Placement Programme:
As part of Bentley’s annual Early Careers intake, you’ll join a community of around 250 trainees including Industrial Placements, Graduates, and Apprentices.

About the role:
As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to creating extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
- Gain an understanding on how an automotive vehicle is delivered from concept to production using a structure process,
- Be working alongside and supported by industry experts, problem solving through data analysis and resolving problems in a timely manner,
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure opportunities to improve quality are embraced
- Learn how to use data to create compelling cases for action,
Your main responsibilities include:
- Understanding and learning about new parts and technologies used in Bentley product,
- Participating in a wide range of product reviews and activity, including process improvements, problem solving and improved product knowledge,
- The opportunity to own a continuous improvement project within our various Quality teams,
- Understanding our end-to-end Project Emergence Process(PEP) including all relevant Quality deliverables for the successful launch of a vehicle and/or facelift.

The Quality department is one of the most versatile functions at Bentley. The Quality function plays a vital role in numerous cross-functional processes that shape our business landscape. In alignment with the Beyond100+ strategy we have set our targets in support of the company’s strategic ambitions. This includes an effective and impacting Quality team ready for the future, ensuring excellence in the quality of sustainable Bentley products and services, achieving our Quality targets and our environmental, social and governance responsibility.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Logistics or Sustainability and Product Management.
