About the role:
As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to creating extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:
- Have the opportunity to drive topics of manufacturing of the future in our DREAM FACTORY independently,
- Gain knowledge on the holistic manufacturing process of live and future vehicle projects,
- Work in a diverse and inclusive team.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Working proactively and in partnership with the Hiring Manager in BEV and PHEV Project Management,
- Contributing to PEP (Product Emergence Process) tracking and deliverables of BEV and PHEV projects,
- Supporting the Financial Forecasting of Bentley vehicle projects within Business & Strategic Planning,
- Taking over responsibility for Technical Change Management coordination of Bentley vehicle projects,
- Contributing to Process Management within Production Planning and continuous improvement projects.
About the Department:
Manufacturing is undergoing a step change. We are looking for new thinkers, capable of helping us deliver an extraordinary journey for our customers, and to achieve our ambitions for the future to become the benchmark for luxury car production. With joining the Business Strategic Planning Team you will support us in the DREAM FACTORY here at Crewe site which is enabling us to build industry leading Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) for our customers. Working with and being mentored by expert industry colleagues, you will get a real insight into BEV and PHEV Project Management and Technical Change Management within Production Planning. This department has a strong and constructive cross functional emphasis to ensure delivery of business goals.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Data Science or we would consider degree topics with a STEM focus. Skills required for the role:
- Project Management Skills,

- Extracurricular Activities.
