Our Industrial Placement Programme:

As part of Bentley’s annual Early Careers intake, you’ll join a community of around 250 trainees including Industrial Placements, Graduates, and Apprentices.

There are four Industrial Placement available:

During your placement year at Bentley Motors, you will gain exposure to a variety of functions within the People and Culture department, which may include:

 

HR Colleague Experience:

Within HR Colleague Experience you will gain a broad and varied insight into Human Resources in a central team. Dealing with all manner of generalist topics and shared service support. You will develop strong colleague engagement skills alongside considerable knowledge of HR supporting systems like SuccessFactors, Workforce Software and SAP.

 

HR Digital Transformation:

Working with the HR Digital team, you collaborate closely with expert colleagues in HR and IT. You’ll gain valuable experience across a range of strategic and operational digital transformation initiatives and build your skills in project, stakeholder and organizational change management along the way. Supporting with the implementation of digital initiatives across the wider HR function.

 

HR Operations:

Within HR operations you will sit within the HR Advisory team, responsible for providing a professional HR service across the organisation to line managers. You will gain invaluable experience learning how HR supports the whole employee lifecycle, people strategy and Business objectives. You will experience global mobility and immigration topics touching on how we share talent across the whole Volkswagen Group, making this a truly varied role, showing you the value of HR Operations.

 

HR Talent Acquisition:

Talent Acquisition are responsible for delivering our Early Careers Campaign in 2027 covering Apprenticeships, Industrial Placements and Graduate Hires. You will liaise with both candidates, hiring managers and work in close partnership with our Early Careers, Talent Acquisition and Marketing teams to deliver a positive candidate experience, whilst helping us to build diverse talent communities and pipelines.

Bentley Motors' People and Culture department plays a crucial role in providing an extraordinary experience for employees, mirroring the luxury experience offered to customers. The department positions Bentley as an employer of choice and focuses on creating a seamless career journey for employees from hire to retire.

 

What we’re looking for:

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Human Resources or Business Management degree , Information Technology, Organisational Change Management, Human Resources with Business/Management, Organizational Psychology with Business/Management, Law.

Skills required for the role:

  • Good Communication skills,
  • Canva experience desired,
  • Team Working abilities,
  • Customer Service experience desirable,
  • Effective Time Management,
  • Highly IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Interest in marketing and or talent branding desired,
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills,
  • Strong data and analytical skills,
  • Highly IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Interest or basic knowledge of project management techniques such as PRINCE2 is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable examples of project management
  • Problem solving skills
