As part of Bentley’s annual Early Careers intake, you’ll join a community of around 250 trainees including Industrial Placements, Graduates, and Apprentices.

About the role:

As an Industrial Placement Student at Bentley, you will play a key part in Bentley’s journey to creating extraordinary vehicles for our customers. Based out of our state-of-the-art headquarters in Crewe, you will:

  • Gain invaluable experience in managing high-impact projects,
  • Develop a deep understanding of communications and PR,
  • Lead your own projects in Corporate, Internal, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and Sustainability Communications you will play a key role in driving our strategy and business.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Researching, creating and writing press releases, press materials and briefing documents for product, corporate, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) and Sustainability PR projects,
  • Being an active lead within corporate and sustainability comms generating content and story telling for internal and external communication channels,
  • Proactively working with suppliers e.g. photographers and designers to generate captivating content,
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate Bentley Comms events, talks and activities to support all internal communications,
  • Ensuring all day-to-day processes are managed with timely and accurate responses e.g. responses to journalists on all Bentley topics,
  • Working closely with the Bentley Environmental Foundation and other sustainability stakeholders across the business.

 

About the Department:

The Communications team is at the heart of the business, responsible for all of Bentley’s internal and external media content. This placement will allow you to work as part of this team and develop a thorough understanding of a busy press office. Important tasks include:

  • Handling day-to-day media enquiries,
  • Managing timely and accurate responses to journalists on all Bentley topics,
  • Supporting on media visits to the Bentley Factory.

 

What we are looking for:

The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degrees: Communications and Public Relations, Marketing, or Media.
