Purpose of the Role
Join the Electrical Engineering - Architecture and Integration team as the Health and Wellbeing Engineer where you'll be developing Bentley’s next generation of electronic systems using the latest architectures to develop exceptional features and experiences for Bentley customers. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on new features to enhance the holistic wellbeing within our vehicles and to provide the ultimate in car experiences for our customers. Reporting into the Functional Manager- Technical Processes your main responsibilities include;

  • Developing and maintaining a high level of technical skill in automotive health and wellbeing features to include: Occupant state sending technologies, in-car measures and connected services
  • Delivery of ‘end to end’ customer interface products according to specific project requirements to include working cross-functionally with other teams within R&D, for example UX/UI
  • Respect and comply with company and VW requirements covering personal integrity, legal requirements and health and safety
  • Operating in a systems engineering environment and acting as a function owner defining complex software based systems, functionality and engaging downstream lower level development processes

The Health and Wellbeing Team are working to deliver world first innovation projects around the topic of occupant health and wellbeing. We are leading the development of these new technologies and this is an exciting opportunity to work within this dynamic team.

 

About you – Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of electronic hardware, software and systems
  • A relevant subject matter degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • A strong affinity and interest in human health and well-being which can be translated into an engineering environment
  • Strong knowledge of electronic systems and architectures
