About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience of assessing and benchmarking electric automotive assembly, which will influence and inform future production strategies. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Workforce Planning, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Manufacturing Systems team and be part of the evolution of the Dream Factory, working with a broad range of stakeholders, including Group.

We’re looking for innovative thinkers, capable of taking extreme ownership to deliver extraordinary journeys for our customers, and to achieve our ambitions for the future to become the benchmark for luxury car production.


Responsibilities include:

  • Methods and Time Measurement (MTM-UAS) for our first fully electric vehicle. This involves Process Analysis, timing, and tracking
  • Comparison with internal and external sources e.g. other Group plants
  • Identification and leading of opportunities to reduce the operationally required hours per car
  • Planning of indirect Headcount requirements for planning horizon
  • Identification and leading of opportunities to reduce the required indirect headcount


About the Person

The successful candidate will currently be in a business analyst role or a role weighted towards extraction, analysis and interpretation of data. You will have/be:


  • Experience of researching/benchmarking processes to extract, manipulate and analyse data with the ability to identify patterns and provide meaningful insights.
  • Experience of visualising complex data, resolving ambiguity and simplifying complexity for stakeholders.
  • You will also have an excellent understanding of external factors affecting the auto industry and the Luxury segments, focusing on electrification.
  • Proactive and curious with a questioning approach and a continuous improvement mind set.
  • You will also be able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through data driven information.
  • Tenacious and resilient with a can do attitude who thrives on autonomy and has the ability to problem solve.
  • A strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Ideally German language skills or willingness to learn
  • Ideally experience or knowledge on manufacturing of electric vehicles
